Ajay Sharma is a seasoned banking professional with over 30 years of experience across private banking, structured finance, corporate banking, treasury, and trade finance. He has held senior leadership roles in international banking, including 15 years as Managing Director at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, where he helped expand the bank’s presence in the Middle East. Prior to that, Ajay spent 16 years at ICICI Bank, where he was Country Head – Bahrain and MENA Head – Wholesale Banking, managing a significant regional portfolio. Ajay holds an Engineering degree and a Master’s in Finance from Delhi University and has been based in the Middle East for over two decades.
